Job summary

Rudding Park, a luxury hotel and event destination, seeks a Corporate Events Sales Executive to drive corporate business, convert enquiries, and grow revenue from existing clients. You will engage with event agencies and senior decision-makers, positioning the property as a premier meetings and events venue.

You will manage corporate inquiries, present facilities and capabilities, and negotiate profitable terms, with training provided for any new systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Agilysys is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A minimum of 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of corporate and large-event enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.
• Respond quickly and professionally to enquiries, identifying the client's objectives, requirements, budget and decision-making process.
• Follow up all proposals and opportunities proactively to maximise conversion.
• Prepare compelling and commercially focused proposals and quotations.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits, confidently presenting Rudding Park's facilities and event capabilities.
• Negotiate with clients within agreed commercial parameters to secure profitable business.
• Identify opportunities to increase average booking value and total event spend.

Job Summary

We are looking for a commercially driven and highly motivated Corporate Events Sales Executive to join the Sales & Events team at Rudding Park, with a particular focus on corporate business, conferences, meetings, large-scale events and high-value group business.

This role will be responsible for corporate business, converting enquiries into confirmed business and growing revenue from existing clients and accounts.

The successful candidate will be confident selling to businesses, event agencies, corporate organisers and senior decision-makers.

You will play a key role in positioning Rudding Park as a leading destination for corporate meetings, conferences, incentives, celebrations and large events.

Shift Pattern

40 hours per week, 5 over 7 days, with 1 or 2 weekends per month. Shift Patterns vary from 8am - 4.30pm, 8.30am -5pm, 9am - 5.30pm, 10.30am - 7pm.

What We Are Looking For

In Return For Your Hard Work And Commitment

• Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
• Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
