Job summary

Finatal is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join a high-growth platform in London. You will help shape the equity story, assist with capital raising, and drive strategic projects across the business.

You will work closely with senior leadership on fundraising, investor relations, and international expansion. The role offers exposure to board materials and high-level investor communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in Strategy Consulting or Investor Relations.
• Strong ability to structure complex business questions and deliver clear conclusions.
• Experience producing board-level or investor-facing materials.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to synthesise large amounts of information into actionable narratives.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and execution of fundraising processes with senior leadership and external advisers.
• Develop and refine the investor narrative, equity story, and strategic positioning.
• Build investor presentations, board materials, and management reports.
• Conduct market, competitor, and strategic analyses to support fundraising and growth.
• Prepare financial analyses and performance materials for strategic decision-making.

The business has established itself as a market leader through this technology-enabled growth strategy and is entering an exciting new phase of scale.

This is a high-exposure role sitting at the intersection of strategy, finance, and investor relations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape the company's equity story, support capital raising initiatives, and drive key strategic projects across the business. The role offers broad exposure to fundraising preparation, board-level materials, investor communications, and growth initiatives including international expansion.

What you'll do

• Support the preparation and execution of future fundraising processes, working closely with senior leadership and external advisors
• Help develop and refine the company's investor narrative, equity story, and strategic positioning
• Build investor presentations, board materials, management reports, and other key stakeholder communications
• Conduct market, competitor, and strategic analysis to support fundraising and growth initiatives
• Develop financial analysis and business performance materials to underpin strategic decision-making
• Support investor diligence requests and the preparation of data rooms and supporting materials
• Work on high-priority strategic projects, including international expansion initiatives, market entry assessments, and growth planning
• Partner with leadership across multiple functions to deliver analytical insights and recommendations
• Assist with broader corporate strategy and business planning activities as the company continues to scale
