Job summary

NPA Recruit is working with a leading generalist solicitors practice on the South Coast to recruit a Corporate Commercial Solicitor in Eastbourne. The role covers corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts and policies; provide risk analysis; and represent the firm in negotiations and disputes. The position offers 3–4 days in the office per week and a £1,000 signing bonus payable after joining.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum 1 year PQE within corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and corporate policies.
• Conduct legal research to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Advise on legal risks and potential liabilities affecting the business.
• Represent the company in negotiations and dispute resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and regulators as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business.
• Assist with corporate restructurings and other legal transactions.
• Develop training programs for employees on legal and compliance issues.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management.

• Provide legal advice and guidance on various business matters, including corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.

The successful candidate for the specified position shall be entitled to receive a one-time payment of £1000 as a signing bonus, funded solely by NPA Recruit LTD. This payment shall be disbursed to the candidate within 14 days from the date of their commencement of new employment, subject to the agreed upon terms and conditions.
