Purpose of Role

Lawes Consulting Group are partnering with a well-established and very well-respected Manchester Broker firm to add to a strong and growing team in the city centre.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to new business enquiries gather required information and support the preparation and presentation of quotes.
  • Liaise with insurers to secure competitive terms that align with client needs and expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients ensuring all documentation and communications are accurate timely and professional.
  • Support early-stage client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional coverage and helping to create a smooth and positive customer experience.
Day-to-Day
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with insurer partners to support new business growth.
  • Assist in market presentations and negotiations under the guidance of senior colleagues.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a commercial insurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK commercial insurance products.
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Cert CII qualification desirable (or willingness to work toward it).
  • A proactive driven and customer-first mindset.
