An exciting opportunity to join Canterbury City Council's Corporate Case Services team as a Corporate Case Services Officer (Information Governance) part-time, 18-month fixed-term contract to cover an internal secondment.
Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about information governance, data protection and transparency? We are looking for a Corporate Case Services Officer to help ensure the council meets its statutory responsibilities under Freedom of Information, Environmental Information and Data Protection legislation.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work across the organisation, supporting colleagues to manage information effectively while helping residents, customers and stakeholders access information lawfully and appropriately.
As a Corporate Case Services Officer (Information Governance), you will play a key role in helping the council meet its legal obligations relating to information rights, records management and corporate complaints handling. You'll work closely with services across the organisation, ensuring requests and enquiries are managed efficiently, accurately and within statutory deadlines.
We're looking for someone who has knowledge and experience with information governance work, can manage a varied caseload, work accurately under pressure and build effective working relationships across a wide range of services.
