Corporate Business Development Manager - Total Waste Management Solutions

Location: National

The Role:

The successful Corporate Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities worth millions of pounds with national multisite organisations within the public and private sectors such as education, hospitals, hotel chains, and retail to deliver profitable revenue growth. You will manage your daily activities, plan your journeys, proactively set up business meetings, and drive sales through high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business on a national basis to meet set targets
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly / annual new business targets
  • Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity on the CRM
  • Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance reports
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Depot Manager and Operations team to implement sales initiatives
  • Act as the primary interface for target customers
  • Present to board-level audiences
  • Work with tenders and bids team on proposal submissions
  • Handle sales prospecting and pricing negotiations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in corporate sales of high-value, complex services
  • Ideally, a background in waste or facilities management
  • Experience selling at head office level to decision-makers
  • Sold deals valued between £500,000 and over £1 million
  • Experience in consultative sales, bids, and tenders
  • Proven track record in new business sales

Benefits:

  • £50,000-£60,000 Basic Salary
  • OTE £75,000-£85,000 Uncapped Commission
