Shore Capital Markets is an independent equity-focused investment bank advising over 90 corporate clients. Our services include corporate broking, advisory, equity research, equity sales, market making/trading, and M&A, focusing on equity capital markets and dual-track processes. Our team of approximately 125 professionals operates out of London and Liverpool.

The Corporate Broking team works closely with our advisory business, comprising about 25 professionals, and is retained by over 90 clients, including well-known names like Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s. We serve a diverse range of sectors, from micro-cap to FTSE 100 companies, supported by over 20 equity research analysts and a strong trading platform with around 40 staff.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate based in London to support our senior team in driving business growth. You will have high client exposure and work on ongoing mandates, including equity capital raises, M&A transactions, and day-to-day broking activities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing presentation materials and financial analyses for Board-level advice
• Assisting in communicating clients' equity stories to investors and acquirers
• Collaborating with clients and advisers to ensure smooth transaction processes
• Staying informed on markets to produce updates for clients
• Identifying new business opportunities and preparing marketing materials

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong academic record with at least a 2:1 degree, preferably numerate
• 2-4 years of experience in Corporate Finance, investment banking, Big 4, or ECM teams
• Experience in corporate finance deals, including capital raises and M&A
• Knowledge of equity raising options and valuation methodologies
• Ability to produce financial models and market updates
• A passion for financial markets, especially equities
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with data providers like Pitchbook, Factset, Dealogic, and Bloomberg
