Job summary

ING is seeking a motivated analyst to join the UK Corporate Sector Coverage team within Wholesale Banking. You’ll help manage key client relationships, assist in deal execution, and collaborate across lending, capital markets, and transaction services.

In a collaborative, international environment, you’ll interact with Senior stakeholders and product specialists, while developing market and product knowledge and contributing to sustainability-led solutions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline (Economics, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics).
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and management of key client relationships while gaining exposure to deal execution and strategic client planning.
• Prepare client plans, briefing materials, and pitch presentations for relationship management.
• Coordinate and follow up on client meetings, including call reports and action tracking.
• Contribute to origination by identifying opportunities and analysing market developments.
• Assist in screening and onboarding prospective clients with prospect overviews.
• Support deal execution by drafting commercial proposals, credit applications, and internal approvals.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to deliver transactions smoothly.
• Ensure high data quality across systems, including Salesforce updates and performance tracking.
• Support KYC and onboarding processes to ensure timely, compliant client setup.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and contribute to internal deal communication.
