Job summary

Treetops Hospice in the Risley area is seeking a friendly, pragmatic fundraiser to grow corporate and community income streams. You will build lasting relationships with supporters, partners and volunteers to secure compassionate hospice care.

The role blends community fieldwork with office work and occasional home working; you’ll be trusted to shape the programme and deliver results, with the support of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising or sales within a nonprofit setting.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with supporters, partners and volunteers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Are you a friendly and pragmatic person who lives and breathes sales and loves fundraising? Have you got a firm grip on all the disciplines, and do you understand the importance of building strong relationships?

As part of our five year ‘Invest to Grow’ strategy, we have an opening to support and grow our Corporate and Community fundraising. We have strong community support and are looking for someone to build this vital income stream by creating strong relationships which in turn results in securing the delivery of compassionate hospice care.

Your role will be varied by spending time in the community or in the office and occasional time working at home. We’re a friendly bunch of people to work with and, as your line manager, I’m the kind of person who’ll give you the freedom to do great things. We can’t afford huge salaries, but I’m open to talk.
