We are looking to recruit a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor who is seeking an opportunity to develop their career within a friendly, family-like firm, handling a varied caseload. The role is based in our Edgerton office in Huddersfield, with potential for hybrid working once settled.

We prefer full-time applicants but are open to part-time candidates, minimum 30 hours per week over four or five days.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware, with an aptitude for various business-related disciplines. You will engage in transactions of all sizes, supporting local and national owner-managed and SME businesses, from startups to established companies.

The role includes but is not limited to:

1. Share sales
2. Acquisitions and mergers
3. Shareholder and investment agreements

You will participate in business development, marketing activities, and networking to enhance both the firm’s reputation and your professional growth. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, adaptable to a diverse client base, and capable of providing clear, commercial advice. Excellent client care, organizational, written, and IT skills are essential.

We are looking for a 2-5 PQE Corporate and Commercial Solicitor, but applications from newly qualified candidates with relevant training experience will also be considered.
