Job summary

AJ Bell is seeking an Asset Servicing Team Leader to guide the Corporate Actions Processing team in a regulated, deadline-driven setting. You will coach a high‑performing group to deliver accurate, timely and compliant processing of all corporate action events while strengthening controls and risk management.

You will own staffing, plan for market cut-offs, and drive MI reporting and continuous improvement through automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services within asset servicing or custody operations.
• Proven leadership in high‑risk, deadline‑driven environments.
• Strong understanding of corporate action event types, settlement, and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high performing team in a regulated, high risk, deadline driven environment.
• Oversee accurate processing of corporate action events and ensure regulatory compliance (CASS, FCA) and timely entitlements.
• Plan resource allocation to meet market cut-offs and queries; manage queues and workload.
• Produce MI and drive improvements via data insight and automation initiatives.
• Support system testing and process changes; mentor and onboard new team members.
