Job summary

iMultiply is seeking a technically strong accountant to own complex statutory reporting, manage multi-entity close cycles, and lead a capable accounting team. You will work with senior leaders and auditors to ensure governance, accuracy, and robust controls.

In this hands-on manager role, you will challenge existing processes, streamline workflows, and balance detail with deadlines. The role offers visibility, career development, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, ideally at manager level.
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Proven ownership of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Audit background, ideally Big Four or equivalent, with appropriate grade progression.
• Experience leading and developing accounting teams; strong stakeholder management.
• Experience in a complex, multi-entity business; clear communication with auditors and non-finance.

Responsibilities

This role will suit someone with solid practice training who now wants breadth, influence, and proper accountability. This is a global group with operations across multiple sites. The function supports a varied client base and a growing portfolio of entities, with a clear focus on quality reporting and strong governance.

The role

As Manager, you will take ownership of statutory reporting across several entities and lead the end‑to‑end close process. You’ll manage and develop an experienced accounting team while acting as the main technical point of contact for senior stakeholders and auditors. This is a hands‑on role with real substance. You’ll be expected to challenge, improve, and streamline existing processes while maintaining control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Ownership of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Review of management accounts and support for budgeting and forecasting.
• Day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and technical oversight of the accounting team.
• Ensuring strong financial controls and consistent application of accounting standards.
• Acting as the primary liaison for internal and external audits.
• Driving process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.

The Ideal individual

You’ll Bring a Strong Technical Grounding, Probably From Practice, Supported By Relevant Industry Experience. You’ll Be Comfortable Balancing Detail With Deadlines, And Confident Engaging With Both Auditors And Non‑finance Stakeholders. We Are Looking For
