- Prepare UK corporation tax computations, including supporting schedules and adjustments from statutory accounts.
- Support quarterly instalment payments, cash tax forecasting and responses to HMRC queries and information requests.
- Work closely with the wider Finance team and senior stakeholders to ensure accounting and tax requirements are accurately reflected in reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and documentation and contribute to wider finance transformation initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years' experience in a corporate accounting, financial accounting or tax & accounting environment.
- Strong financial accounting fundamentals, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit support.
- Experience with UK corporation tax, ideally gained in-house or within practice.
- Good understanding of tax accounting, including current and deferred tax.
- Experience working with financial statements and tax disclosures.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified or part-qualified is preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
