Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable new business across the Cornwall region. You will target new customers, build relationships and close deals, contributing to ambitious growth plans for the foodservice sector.

The role offers a fixed annual package of £52,000 including a £6,000 car allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and strong earning potential in a performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of winning new business and delivering sales growth
• Strong prospecting skills and the ability to build and manage an active sales pipeline
• Confidence in negotiating and closing deals with key decision-makers
• The ability to build long-term customer relationships and turn new business wins into sustainable accounts
• A data-led approach to territory planning and identifying new opportunities
• High levels of self-motivation, resilience and accountability
• Experience within foodservice, FMCG or B2B distribution would be advantageous, but a strong new business sales background is essential

Responsibilities

• This is a target-driven role where you will be expected to identify, approach and convert new free-trade customers, develop a strong pipeline of opportunities and deliver against stretching annual new business targets.
• You will also work closely with the Sales Centres to ensure new accounts are onboarded successfully, retained and developed over the long term.
