Job summary

Fospha, a world-leading measurement platform for online retail, invites a Core Data Engineer to design, build and optimise data pipelines, data models, and governance across analytics and ML workflows in London.

You will own reliability and scalability of data in production, collaborate with Data Science and Platform teams, and contribute to GenAI initiatives through robust ETL/ELT patterns and data quality controls.

Qualifications

• Design, build and optimise data pipelines across analytics and ML systems.
• Strong grasp of data modelling, warehousing and orchestration.
• Experience with cloud-native data stacks (AWS) and ML/ELT workflows.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and version control in data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines using dbt, Python, and SQL.
• Implement scalable ELT/ETL frameworks powering analytics and ML.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Platform teams for reliable model deployment.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and observability of data workflows in production.
• Contribute to data architecture decisions and documentation for data integrity.
• Design and maintain data models used by ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Drive automation, versioning, and quality validation in data delivery.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and inform decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and GenAI enablement.
