Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Core CAMHS Team Lead to provide clinical leadership and ensure delivery of high-quality, safe mental health care for children and families. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, promote a psychologically safe culture, and contribute to service development.

The role requires relevant CAMHS qualifications, clinical supervision experience and strong leadership, with flexible working and commitment to staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in a field relevant to child & adolescent mental health (e.g. Registered Nurse or Social Worker).
• Registration with an appropriate regulatory body.
• Post basic training in child & adolescent mental health.
• Evidence of accredited qualification in training/supervision of trainees/students.

Responsibilities

• The Core Team Lead will support effective day-to-day delivery of Core CAMHS, ensuring timely, safe and evidence-based care.
• Provide visible leadership and identify clinical/operational pressures, risks and gaps in provision.
• Lead supervision, appraisal, workload management and staff wellbeing while adhering to organisational policies.
