About the Opportunity

MoonPay is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic Communications team. The Copywriter will craft compelling, clear, and engaging content that resonates with our diverse audience, drives brand awareness, and ensures consistency across all corporate materials. This role requires a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of fintech and cryptocurrency, and the ability to adapt tone and style across various channels.

What you will be working on

You will be responsible for crafting all Newsroom content for MoonPay (excluding the Learn content which is led by our Growth team). You will work alongside a team of storytellers and marketers, while also collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality educational and engaging written content. You will be the official author of MoonPay’s weekly newsletter, the MoonPay Minute, which has approximately 200K subscribers.

What you will do

1. Write high-quality copy for marketing campaigns, website content, social media, email newsletters, and blog posts
2. Maintain and evolve MoonPay’s brand voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
3. Work closely with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to develop cohesive campaigns and user-focused messaging
4. Tailor content to diverse audiences, from crypto novices to seasoned investors, ensuring clarity and accessibility
5. Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines
6. Stay informed on fintech and cryptocurrency trends to produce relevant and timely content

About You

1. 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in fintech, tech, or cryptocurrency industries
2. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types
3. Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging copy
4. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Payload, Braze)
5. Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and financial technology is a plus
6. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and problem-solving
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
