We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive colleague to join our Planning & Operations Team within Medicines Evaluation on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027.
The role will work on one of NICE's most exciting projects, the whole lifecycle approach (WLA).
This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience, build relationships across NICE, and gain exposure to a wide range of operational and coordination activities.
In this varied role, you'll support business planning and operational activities across the directorate, helping to coordinate meetings and events, manage work allocation processes, maintain records and systems, provide committee servicing support, and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across NICE.
This is a part-time role offering flexibility in how hours are worked across the week, and we welcome applications from those interested in a secondment opportunity.
The role is open to colleagues based in both Manchester and London.
Join the Business Management Team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Whole Lifetime Approach (WLA) programme.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the centre of programme activity, ensuring governance, stakeholder engagement and day-to-day coordination run smoothly. The WLA is a significant programme for the NICE strategy and forms part of the 10-year plan, therefore this is a unique opportunity to be involved in a high-profile programme for NICE. The team works across the organisation to ensure our guidance is useful and useable; helping to drive smarter spending across the NHS.
You’ll support the team by coordinating steering groups, stakeholder panels and leadership meetings, managing meeting logistics, preparing agendas and papers, responding to member enquiries, and capturing key decisions and actions. You’ll also help maintain programme governance through records management, progress reporting, RAID log administration, and the upkeep of Teams and SharePoint resources.
