Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Primary School in West Belconnen seeks a Coordinator to join the school Executive team. The role focuses on curriculum implementation and developing programs aligned to the school’s strategic intentions, with emphasis on mentoring staff.

You will lead teaching programs across the school, supporting confident delivery of high-quality learning and wellbeing for students while upholding Catholic education principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching required.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.

About the Role

The Coordinator is a valuable member of the school Executive team. While the Coordinator leads aspects of curriculum implementation across the school, there is also scope to work with the strengths of the successful applicant in developing programs aligned to the strategic intentions of the school. A willingness and capacity to mentor and coach staff is an essential aspect of the role.
