Job summary

Borough Kitchen is seeking a skilled Cook School Chef to lead engaging cooking classes and demonstrations in London locations including Battersea, Chiswick, Hampstead and Islington. You will inspire guests with ingredient knowledge, techniques and recipes, create a welcoming atmosphere, and adapt to afternoons and evenings in a busy schedule.

Experience as a professional chef or culinary instructor is preferred; enthusiasm for food and teaching is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional chef or culinary instructor
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cuisines and techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Host our guests in a warm and friendly environment
• Deliver engaging and informative cooking classes and demonstrations
• Prepare cooking classes with ingredients and equipment ready while ensuring cleanliness and safety
• Maintain a clean and organised cooking area and adhere to food hygiene standards
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions to ensure a positive guest experience
• Clean down after classes together with the Cook School Assistant
