Job summary

Bowden Derra Park Ltd in Launceston, Cornwall, is looking for a reliable Cook to prepare nutritious meals for service users and staff. This role offers consistent daytime hours (07:00–15:00) and a 2-week rota with every other weekend off.

Salary: £13.50 per hour (weekdays) / £14.00 per hour (weekends)
Hours: 07:00–15:00
Shift Pattern: 2-week rota (7 days per fortnight)

Working a consistent 2-week shift pattern, you’ll benefit from structured hours and every other weekend off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals for service users and staff

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times

• Work collaboratively with care and café staff to meet individual dietary requirements

About You

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Food Hygiene Certificate desirable)
