Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a skilled Catering Chef to join our team at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, OX18 3LX. You will prepare, cook and serve high-quality food, following approved recipes and menu cycles while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

You will use digital systems to support service delivery, handle ordering and storage procedures, and engage with SCP to ensure smooth operations across shifts. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards precisely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food in line with approved recipes, menu cycles, and company standards.
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, portion control, and food safety at all times.
• Monitor and record food waste and temperatures in line with compliance requirements.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Use digital systems effectively to support service delivery.
• Complete opening, closing, and handover procedures as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Attend required training, meetings, and briefings.
