  • Location: Newport PO30, UK
  • Rota: 09:00 - 14:00, alternating Saturday and Sunday
  • Pay Rate: £ - £
Skills and Requirements:
  • Confidently cook for up to 9 people
  • Available for alternating weekends (overtime available)
  • Organised and adaptable to various situations
  • Understanding of great customer service and needs of older people
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Outlook and Excel beneficial (training provided)

About the Role:

At Abbeyfield, we aim to create a community where residents feel empowered, safe, and respected. Our staff provide friendly, home-cooked meals in a clean, warm environment, ensuring residents enjoy their later years in comfort and peace of mind.

You will ensure residents' wellbeing and safety, serving as the first point of contact for reporting issues, and investigating and escalating concerns as needed. Budget management and computer skills are advantageous, but full training and support will be provided.

Please note: This role requires UK eligibility to work, two references, and a standard DBS check (cost covered by Abbeyfield). Disclosing any convictions is necessary; failure to do so may revoke employment offers.
