Job summary

Genting Casinos is seeking a commis chef/cook to join our kitchen team in the UK. You will assist with food preparation, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and help with daily menu production in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a supportive team player, able to follow HACCP guidelines, and eager to contribute to new menu ideas. 18+ and rights to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commis chef/cook is preferred.
• Good team player and able to work in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to assist in all kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the smooth running of the kitchen and preparation areas.
• Support in food production and daily kitchen duties.
• Help maintain HACCP standards and store items properly.

We have a vacancy for an experienced cook to join our team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and the general upkeep of the kitchen.

Key skills and responsibilities include: Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas Assisting in food production.

Supporting the production of new menu ideas.

Maintaining the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.

Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling them with great care.

Making sure all kitchen equipment, such as food mixers, fridges, and cookers, is in good working order.

Reporting any faulty equipment to the management Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised.
