Job Title: Cook

Join our team as a Cook at Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG).

Pay Range and Working Hours

This range is provided by NSCG. Your actual salary will depend on your skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for more details.

  • Hours: 37 hours/week, term-time only (38 weeks)
  • Salary: £24,348 pro-rata (actual salary £20,462 per annum)
  • Location: Institute of Technology

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual to join our successful team at the Institute of Technology. Responsibilities include working in a busy kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of foods, serving and selling food to students, staff, and stakeholders, checking goods inward, and maintaining cleanliness.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in large-scale catering, preferably in education.
  • Understanding of healthy eating options.
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent.
