Job summary

Fantasy Island Resort in Lincolnshire is seeking a Cook to join our busy catering team. You will prepare and cook food across a variety of outlets, delivering high-quality, safe meals for guests at the park.

You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain high hygiene standards, manage stock, and support service during busy periods. Weekend availability is required.

Experience is welcome but not essential; a current food hygiene certificate is preferred and training can be provided.

  • A current food hygiene certificate is preferred; training and certification can be provided if required.
  • Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food across a variety of menus and catering outlets.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within all kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Follow and uphold all Food Safety, Health, and Safety standards in line with legislation and company policies.
  • Manage stock levels and control wastage to support gross profit targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
  • Support the wider catering team in delivering a positive, efficient guest experience.

About the Role

Join us at Fantasy Island Resort, Lincolnshire's leading family theme park. Our resort is home to over 30 exciting rides and attractions, live entertainment, and Europe's largest 7-day market, set across more than 40 acres. Alongside the main attraction, we also operate caravan parks and a modern short-stay holiday park with luxury lodges.

As a Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food across a range of on-site venues. Working as part of a fast-paced, supportive kitchen team, you will help ensure our guests enjoy safe, well-prepared, and great-tasting food during their visit.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food across a variety of menus and catering outlets.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within all kitchen and food preparation areas.
