Position Description

As a Cook, you will prepare menu items according to company standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and a quality work environment under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities:

• Present yourself well-groomed, in proper uniform, practicing good personal hygiene.
• Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment and preparation areas.
• Stock and rotate products on the line.
• Understand cooking stations, menu items, and procedures to ensure quality and safety.
• Cook and prepare menu items per guest requests, following safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food temperatures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding issues and safety concerns.

Qualifications:

• Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service.
• Clear communication skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:

• High mobility and flexibility.
• Ability to work irregular hours during peak times.
• Good coordination skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to fit through a 30” opening.
• Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors.
• Continuous standing and walking.
