A Cook is needed by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Maidstone to prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts and lunches for residents in a care home. The role covers five mornings per week with alternating weekends, supporting residents with varied dietary needs.

Job description

The Cook will work 5 mornings per week, including alternate weekends, and will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious breakfasts and lunches for residents in the care home.

Key duties will include maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, carrying out all food preparation and cleaning duties, and ensuring that current food safety, food handling and hygiene regulations are followed at all times.

The Cook will cater for residents with individual dietary requirements and special diets, including diabetic, gluten-free and other prescribed dietary needs, ensuring meals are prepared safely and appropriately.
