Qualifications

About The Role

HC-One is looking for a Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.

We aim to provide a quick onboarding process, from job offer to start date, ensuring a smooth transition for new colleagues.

About You

You will be organized to meet service times, thrive on autonomy to plan and prioritize, and follow recipes accurately. You should be passionate about food and understand the importance of good quality, home-cooked meals for our Residents. Communication with Residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
