OakRay Care is seeking a part-time Cook for Totland Bay care home to prepare healthy, traditional meals for residents. You should be passionate about making an impact and have a solid understanding of food safety and catering paperwork.

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Cook to join our friendly, supportive team at our Totland Bay care home.

Little Hayes Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 32 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Cook, who can prepare and serve healthy, traditional home cooked food for our residents. Can you make a tasty Shepherd’s pie?

A thorough understanding of food safety is crucial, and you should be able to complete the appropriate catering paperwork. You should hold the relevant food hygiene qualifications.

Previous experience working as a Cook within an elderly care home environment is desirable.

A competitive salary is offered. The role requires 16 hours across Saturday and Sunday.
