Job description

Our client is a leading Private Equity and Real Estate investments house. Due to company growth, they are now looking to recruit a COO.

The COO will assume the following remit:

  1. Work with the CEO in setting and driving the company’s vision and operational strategy
  2. Contribute to organisational wide leadership on strategy, business modelling, as well as operational effectiveness and transformation
  3. Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement company wide goal setting, performance management, and operational planning
  4. Maintain and improve on processes so that investors continue to receive exceptional levels of client servicing
  5. Oversee company operations and employee productivity, maintaining a highly inclusive culture
  6. Analyse internal operations and identify areas for improvement
  7. Implement a process of continuous improvement based on these metrics, company changes and external changes
  8. Maintain and build trusted relationships with key professional firms and suppliers to ensure the best service levels and value for money are achieved
  9. Board reporting on operational performance, people and organisational issues

The COO will require the following skill set:

  1. 5 years’ experience at director or senior management level in a Real Estate, Alternatives or Private Equity investment firm
  2. Strong leadership skills
  3. Track record of delivering organisational goals and change
  4. Proven ability to manage change
  5. Strong experience of board and investor reporting.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must come from a Real Estate investment, Alternative investment, or Private Equity investment background. Candidates without this experience, or with experience only in vanilla investments, cannot be considered.
