Job summary

Allstaff in Leicester is seeking a Team Leader/Conveyancer to manage and develop the conveyancing team while handling a varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.

The ideal candidate will have strong property law knowledge, proven leadership experience, exceptional client care, and the ability to build lasting relationships with referrers and clients, ensuring compliance and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling a full conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong background in property law with excellent technical knowledge.
• Experience leading or supervising a team within a conveyancing department.
• Exceptional client care and relationship-building with referrers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Conveyancing team.
• Handle a varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and equity release.
• Oversee new build and shared ownership transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers, estate agents, and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transaction process.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Monitor team workloads and progress to ensure deadlines and service levels are consistently met.
• Contribute to departmental growth through networking, marketing, and developing new business opportunities.
