Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd is representing a well-established Surrey law firm in its search for a Senior Conveyancing Solicitor in Leatherhead. You will manage a mixed caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing and play a key role in developing the department.

Clear Pathway to Head of Conveyancing

A well-established and highly regarded Surrey law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its growing property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior fee earner looking to progress into a leadership position, with a clear succession plan in place for the future.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters while playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
• Providing high-quality legal advice and client service
• Developing relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Assisting with business development and departmental growth initiatives

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer status
• Around 5+ years' PQE within residential and/or commercial conveyancing
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong client care and communication skills
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in progressing into a leadership role
