Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Office and conveyancing case management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Open, manage, and close conveyancing files in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, draft, and process legal documentation, contracts, and property-related forms.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, responding to queries professionally and providing progress updates.
  • Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local authorities to progress matters efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the case management system.
  • Support compliance requirements, including AML checks and adherence to internal policies.
  • Assist with financial administration such as invoicing, payments, and completion statements.
  • Monitor file progression and produce reports for conveyancers and management.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting deadlines and client expectations.

My client is seeking a Conveyancing Administrator to join their growing conveyancing department in Fetcham, Surrey.

This role is integral to the smooth running of residential and/or commercial property transactions, providing high‑quality administrative support while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open, manage, and close conveyancing files in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
