Job summary

Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our client in Portsmouth. You will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and equity transfers, in a busy practice.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Solicitor, CILEx, or Licensed Conveyancer with proven ability to run matters with minimal supervision and a strong client focus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEx or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Experience managing own residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable across a broad range of residential property matters, including leasehold and landlord/tenant.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build purchases.
• Assist with shared ownership, Right to Buy, Help to Buy, and equity release matters.
• Take on first registrations and landlord/tenant issues; manage post-probate transfers.

About You

• The successful candidate will be: A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Experienced in managing their own residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable across a broad range of residential property matters, including leasehold, landlord and tenant, and more complex conveyancing transactions.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
