Join a leading firm in the residential property sector as a conveyancer. You will handle complex property transactions for major housebuilders and ensure high-quality service for clients. Ideal candidates will have extensive conveyancing experience and a commitment to client satisfaction in a supportive environment promoting work-life balance.
Our Residential Housebuilding team is one of the largest of its kind. Working with many major housebuilders, residential developers, and housing clients, our work is diverse and always of the highest quality. We support our clients in a range of projects from major urban mixed-use developments to greenfield new settlements. Our sector expertise, coupled with our client service approach, has earned us the reputation as the premier team in Newcastle, recognized by clients and legal directories alike.
This role involves working with our national housebuilder clients.
In this varied role, you'll work on a broad range of client matters related to the sale and acquisition of residential property across England and Wales. You will manage your own caseload, handling complex files primarily for part exchange sales and purchases, and secondarily for plot sales.
Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the part exchange purchase process—title and lease reviews, title and pre-contract searches, drafting deeds of covenants, notices of transfer, and more. You will handle all documentation required for transactions, including the sale of part exchange properties, and manage all aspects of the plot sales process, such as responding to inquiries, exchanges, completions, and post-completion formalities.
Whether you are a Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or have extensive conveyancing experience, some knowledge of the new build sector is preferred.
You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure, a positive outlook, and a commitment to outstanding client service. Part exchange experience is desirable, but we are happy to support and train strong conveyancing professionals.
