Job description

We're on the lookout for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Analyst to become a key part of our talented and growing team. This role can be based from any of our offices in Stockton-on-Tees, Newcastle Upon Tyne, or Manchester City Centre. We’re also open to UK-based remote working options for the right candidate, as long as you have the full right to work in the UK.

The CRO Analyst will be responsible for owning their client portfolio, leading and overseeing the implementation of CRO strategies to support growth and profitability. They will drive excellence with a client-first approach, ensuring strategies align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact. With a strong focus on performance, they will drive improvements in website performance and respond proactively to evolving client needs with a strategic mindset. Collaboration with internal teams to refine CRO methodologies for continuous optimisation is also essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Client Portfolio Relationship: Nurture and own the relationship of your client portfolio.
  2. Client Portfolio Retention: Ensure high client retention through strong relationships.
  3. Promote High Standards: Ensure CRO services are of high quality, fully servicing clients efficiently.
  4. Client Happiness: Measure by NPS and retention levels; take action when scores are below expectations.
  5. Client Results: Strive to produce high results via CRO; take ownership and implement improvements.
  6. CRO Strategy Ownership: Devise and own CRO strategies; share results with stakeholders; implement industry-leading strategies.
Requirements
  • Extensive proven experience in CRO, agency or client-side
  • Proficiency with CRO platforms, analytics, forecasting, and measurement tools
  • Experience in building and executing CRO strategies
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team
  • Senior-level client-facing experience and strategy presentation skills
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset
Desirable
  • Experience in eCommerce and digital media channels
  • Knowledge of Google Data Studio, Attribution, Google Tag Manager
