Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for flagship data centre projects in England, specifically Berkshire/Slough. You will design, develop, commission, maintain and optimise Schneider automation systems, working in fast-paced, mission-critical environments with the latest Schneider technology.

You will commission, modify and fault-find Schneider control systems on live data centre projects, develop Modicon PLC applications, configure and support SCADA

Qualifications

• Experience with Schneider Modicon PLCs.
• Strong background working with SCADA systems.
• Experience in data centres or critical environments is highly desirable.
• Able to fault-find, commission and optimise automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission, modify and fault-find Schneider control systems on live data centre projects.
• Develop and maintain Schneider Modicon PLC applications.
• Configure and support SCADA systems for critical infrastructure.
• Carry out testing, commissioning and system integration.
• Work alongside electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
• Provide technical support during project delivery and client handover.

You’ll play a key role in the design, development, commissioning, maintenance and optimisation of critical control systems, working with the latest Schneider automation technology in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
