Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to work on advanced data centre projects in the UK. You will design, develop, commission, maintain and optimise Schneider automation systems in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

The role includes testing, integration and providing technical support across electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams, with hybrid working and a yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Schneider Modicon PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Ability to fault-find, commission and optimise automation systems.
• Full UK driving licence required for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Commission, modify and fault-find Schneider control systems on live data centre projects.
• Develop and maintain Schneider Modicon PLC applications.
• Configure and support SCADA systems for critical infrastructure.
• Carry out testing, commissioning and system integration.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams to deliver safely and on schedule.
• Provide technical support during project delivery and client handover.

You’ll play a key role in the design, development, commissioning, maintenance and optimisation of critical control systems, working with the latest Schneider automation technology in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Desired Experience

• Able to fault-find, commission and optimise automation systems.
