Job summary

Select Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced professional to join our Project Delivery team, specialising in MEICA project management and commissioning services for water industry schemes. You will support a growing team on diverse projects ranging from concept to completion, with opportunity for development and progression.

The role involves leading multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating stakeholders, and developing commissioning documentation, with flexibility to work across site,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Higher National Certificate (dependent on experience) is essential.
• Experience with Electrical, Instrumentation and Control & Automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and key documentation.
• Familiar with MCCs and control panels in electrical installations.
• Experience in project engineering or a similar role.
• Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities and resolve issues.
• Experience in clean or wastewater industries is advantageous.
• Proven initiative and problem-solving skills; capable of working flexibly between site, office and home.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.
• Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion.
• Assist with development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering designs.
• Manage installation and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
• Develop and manage commissioning documentation.
• Attend and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders.

You will be required to work on multiple projects within theWater Industrywithresponsibilities including:

• Provide expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.

• Leading Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion.

• Assist with the development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering designs.

• Management of installation and commissioning activities.

• Co-ordination of key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects.

• Development and management of commissioning documentation.

• Attend and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders.

Ideally you will have experience in the following areas and disciplines:

• Understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation and Control & Automation systems along with ability to understand and work through electrical drawings and key documentation.

• Familiar electrical system installations, MCCs, and control panels.

• Project engineering or similar role.

• Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities, resolving issues during the process.

• Clean and/or wastewater industry.

Other requirements:

• Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Being able to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills.

• Desire to work flexibly between site, office, and from home.

• Being able to attend meetings in various locations as per project requirements.

• Ability to interpret information and data related to the role.
