Select Engineering Limited, a Project Delivery organisation specialising in MEICA Project Management and Commissioning services, seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support multi-project delivery across water sector schemes.

You will lead electrical, instrumentation, and automation activities from concept through to completion, coordinating stakeholders and contributing to commissioning documentation while balancing site, office, and home-based work.

Competenze

• Degree in engineering or equivalent (HNC) is essential.
• Experience with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Familiar with electrical drawings and related documentation.
• Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities.
• Experience in water/clean or wastewater sectors is advantageous.

• Lead electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and review electrical and instrumentation designs.

We have an exciting perm opportunity working forProject Delivery organisation specialising inMEICAProject Management and Commissioning services.

The successful candidate will look forward to working alongside an expanding team with personal development and role opportunities, working on a wide range of exciting projects of varying value including multi-million pound schemes.

You will be required to work on multiple projects within theWater Industrywithresponsibilities including: -

• Provide expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.

• Leading Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion.

• Assist with the development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering designs.

• Management of installation and commissioning activities.

• Co-ordination of key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects.

• Development and management of commissioning documentation.

• Attend and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders.

Ideally you will have experience in the following areas and disciplines: -

• Understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation and Control & Automation systems along with ability to understand and work through electrical drawings and key documentation.

• Familiar electrical system installations, MCCs, and control panels.

• Project engineering or similar role.

• Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities, resolving issues during the process.

• Clean and/or wastewater industry.

Other requirements: -

• Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Being able to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills.

• Desire to work flexibly between site, office, and from home.

• Being able to attend meetings in various locations as per project requirements.

• Ability to interpret information and data related to the role.

An Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate (dependent on experience) is essential for this role.
