Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Controls Engineer (PLC / HMI) in Knutsford to design and upgrade PLC and PCB control systems, and develop accompanying PC software with HMI interfaces. You will test, fault-find, and commission systems, largely from the office with occasional site visits.

The role offers a clear path to leadership as you build and mentor a future team, with a salary between £50,000 and £60,000, plus a 10% bonus, life assurance, private healthcare, medical cover

Are you a Controls Engineer with PLC programming experience, look looking for a fully autonomous role as the go-to technical expert in your field, with clear routes to progress to a Team Leader role where you can build and mould a team around you?
