Job summary

Escape is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our West of Scotland engineering team. You will design, develop and commission control systems, working across PLC, HMI and protection schemes on technically challenging projects.

The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary and a bonus scheme, with opportunities to contribute to robust, safe and efficient electrical systems through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with industrial control systems and PLC configurations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, programming and commissioning of control systems.
• Configure PLCs and HMI systems.
• Develop and configure protection systems and relays.
• Work with generator controllers, ECUs and digital AVR systems.
• Support testing, commissioning and on-site activities.
