Full-Time | Permanent | Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-14:00
£48,000 - £55,000 DOE

About the Role
We are an innovative and growing manufacturer of special-purpose machinery and robotic automation systems, seeking a Controls Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our machinery and automation projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure project success.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and developing control systems for machinery and automation projects.
  2. Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate control systems with mechanical and electrical components.
  3. Testing and commissioning control systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  4. Providing technical support during project execution and after installation.
  5. Documenting control system designs and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in control systems engineering, preferably in manufacturing or automation industries.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and control hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical information clearly.
