At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. Join us as a Controls Electronic Engineer at our Gosport site.

The role

As a Controls Electronic Engineer Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.

Day-to-day, you’ll deliver high-quality practical and theoretical training in Electronic Control systems on behalf of the Defence College of Technical Training. No prior training experience required as we will look to develop you into the role.

• Develop lesson plans and training sessions in accordance with approved training standards.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees to support their learning experience.
• Monitor trainee development, provide feedback, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assess trainees through written exams and practical assessments.
• Mark examination papers.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications for the Controls Electronic Engineer Trainer:

• Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of Level 3 in a relevant subject matter.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance.
