Job summary

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority is recruiting a Controls Assurance Manager within the Policy & Risk Division. The role focuses on developing and enhancing the Authority’s internal controls framework, supporting governance, risk management and control across all divisions.

The successful candidate will have experience in risk, controls or audit within regulated financial services, professional liaison skills, and a willingness to pursue relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk frameworks, including identifying, evaluating, rating, managing and mitigating risks.
• Strong interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills are essential.
• Ideally hold, or be working towards, a professional qualification in risk management, audit, governance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enhance the Authority’s internal control environment, supporting governance, risk management and control across Divisions.
• Collaborate with all Divisions to strengthen internal controls framework.
• Contribute to strengthening governance and control in a regulated public service context.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.
