Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Lintott Control Systems team in Plymouth. The role covers from concept through design, manufacture, testing, commissioning and handover, with close collaboration with customers, software engineers and site teams.

You will lead multiple projects, develop electrical designs for MCCs and LV systems, and support tendering and pre-contract activities. A background in electrical engineering or control systems with project delivery experience is

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with industrial experience and project delivery exposure.
• Experience in MCC, control panels and LV electrical system design is desirable.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from order to completion ensuring safety, efficiency and alignment with schedule and budget.
• Review client specs and develop engineering solutions for electrical designs and schematics.
• Produce designs for MCCs, control panels, LV distribution and industrial control systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and site surveys with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
