Job summary
ES Recruit seeks an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering bespoke pressure testing and process systems. You will own control systems from concept through to commissioning, developing PLC and HMI solutions for highly customised equipment and supporting projects through to customer handover.
The role suits a controls engineer with strong Siemens PLC programming experience who enjoys hands-on commissioning, fault finding and optimisation on
Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens PLC programming and HMI development.
- Hands-on commissioning, fault finding and optimisation on customer sites.
- Ability to design and implement control systems from concept to handover.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and commission bespoke PLC and HMI control systems using Siemens TIA Portal.
- Produce and implement control philosophies, sequenced logic and specifications from P&IDs and customer requirements.
- Carry out FATs, SATs and on-site commissioning activities, including fault finding and optimisation.
- Integrate third-party equipment into complete control systems.
- Produce technical documentation and support design reviews and project delivery.
