Job summary

Actemium Automation Teesside is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to design, configure, and commission DCS solutions (PCS 7 / PlantPAx) across industrial processes. You will prepare control philosophies, I/O lists, and technical specifications, while supporting clients through project lifecycles.

Based at Teesside with travel to sites, the role requires strong problem-solving skills, collaboration with SHEQ and project teams, and a commitment to safe, compliant delivery within a VINCI

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with PCS 7 or PlantPAx essential.
• Background in control systems engineering or systems integration in process industries.
• Approx. 3+ years in design, configuration and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement DCS systems (PCS 7 / PlantPAx) for industrial projects.
• Produce I/O lists, control philosophies, specifications, and FDS/SDS.
• Develop, test and commission PCS 7 / PlantPAx solutions onsite and remotely.
