Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for an established engineering organisation specialising in maritime and defence technologies in the United Kingdom. You will design, develop and validate control systems for complex applications, from initial design through to system integration and trials.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, building models and simulations using Rockwell PLC toolchain, NI LabVIEW and MATLAB/Simulink, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop

Qualifications

• Experience with Rockwell PLC toolchain, NI LabVIEW, and MATLAB/Simulink to develop and validate control systems.
• Ability to model complex system behaviour to support requirements and validation.
• Knowledge of HIL/SIL testing and lifecycle processes in engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate control systems for complex engineering applications.
• Produce system specifications, design documentation, calculations and engineering drawings.
• Develop models and simulations using Rockwell PLC, NI LabVIEW and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing and system integration.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and trials on operational maritime platforms.
